Rreport reaching Eastern Times gathered that the Nigeria Police have currently laid siege at the home of Nnamdi Kanu’s co-defendant, Benjamin Madubugwu.
Recalled that on the 2nd day of December 2019, the Nigeria military invaded the home of Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor, who is Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer and killed at least four members of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) who came to sympathize with the Barrister for the burial ceremony of his younger brother. They also set the home of the legal practitioner ablaze while trying to capture the lawyer on reasons best known to them.
The Nigerian police alleges that the members of IPOB killed two policemen and set them ablaze.
Eastern Times learnt during our investigation that the Nigerian Police force have commenced with manhunt of high ranked members of IPOB across the South Eastern region, therefore laying siege at the home of Madubugwu. We are totally against the barbaric acts by the Nigerian police against the members of IPOB who are agitating for their self determination in a most peaceful manner.
